Help: How do I clear my browser's cache?

Each time you access a web page, your browser caches (stores) it on your computer. In this way, web pages do not have to be retrieved again each time you click the Back or Forward buttons.
By clearing the stored pages, your browser will retrieve fresh, up-to-date versions of the pages.

Clearing your cache (temporary Internet files):

In Internet Explorer for Windows:
  1. Open the "Tools" menu.
  2. Select "Internet Options."
  3. Click "Delete Temporary Internet Files."
In Mozilla Firefox for Windows
  1. From the Tools menu, select Options...
  2. In the Options window that appears, select Privacy.
  3. Next to Cache, click the Clear button, and then OK.
In Netscape for Windows, Linux, and Macintosh:
  1. Open the "Edit" menu.
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Click on the "+" next to "Advanced".
  4. Select "Cache".
  5. Click "Clear Memory Cache".
  6. Click "Clear Disk Cache".
  7. Click "OK".
In Microsoft Internet Explorer for Macintosh OS 8-9:
  1. Choose "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu.
  2. Choose "Advanced" from the "Web browser" heading on the left side.
  3. In the "Cache" section, click the "Empty Now" button. Click "OK" to close the "Preferences" window.
  4. Next, click the "Go" menu from IE's menu bar and choose "Open History".
  5. Holding down the shift key, select each of the pages that pertain to Yahoo! from the current day's history.
  6. Release the shift key, and drag the selected items into the trash.
  7. Close the "History" window and empty the trash.
In Microsoft Internet Explorer for Macintosh OS X:
  1. Choose "Preferences" from the "Explorer" menu.
  2. Choose "Advanced" from the "Web browser" heading on the left side.
  3. In the "Cache" section, click the "Empty Now" button.
  4. In the "History" section, click the "Clear History" button.
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 for Mac OS X:
  1. From the Firefox menu, select Preferences...
  2. From the sheet that drops down, select Privacy. Next to Cache, click the Clear button, and then OK.
My Browser is not in your list !:
  1. Look in your Browsers "help" menu or search the internet to find how to clear your cache.

If you continue to experience problems, please check your browser settings and make sure Java is enabled.
